ABOUT DR. A. KUMAR
Retired Principal, PKIET, Karaikal, Puducherry U.T.
Dr. A. Kumar was born on 24th April 1962 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his schooling in Thanjavur in the Tamil medium, laying a strong foundation for his lifelong pursuit of academic excellence.
He pursued higher education at prestigious institutions across India:
Undergraduate: Madura College, Madurai
First Postgraduate Degree: Periyar E.V.R. College, Tiruchirappalli
Second Postgraduate Degree: Manipal Institute of Technology, Mangalore
Ph.D.: Sathyabama University, Chennai
Dr. Kumar has published over 10 research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has also served as an Indian examiner for Ph.D. candidates at various universities, contributing significantly to academic research and quality assessment.
He began his professional career as a Lecturer in Mathematics and retired as the Principal of PKIET, Karaikal, Puducherry U.T., leaving a lasting impact on students and faculty alike.
On a personal note, Dr. Kumar is a proud father of two daughters, both settled in Canada with their families. He currently resides in Sulur, Coimbatore, continuing to engage in academic mentoring and community initiatives.
